Another person with a new computer, I got my laptop for my birthday last week, so nice to have one that does everything you want it to even if it means paying it off for a while toothy7 .

I have not been up to much else, did have a job but they made me strain my back and I almost broke it again so I’m off work yet again sad5 . I have a new tattoo to the collection, a green and black tribal phoenix. Been off to more wwe shows, enjoying been hit on by all them big wrestlers tongue3 ...hehe. Other than that it’s been rather quite for me, no complaints about that though.

Hope everyone has been all good, missed coming here to join in the fun icon_biggrin

Great to hear it but be careful with the back. Mines been out since last October. There's only 2 chairs that I can sit on and they're my kitchen chairs! At least they have wheels on them. The cats have taken over my couch and just about everything else. One of them is even a bed hog! My computer was found on craigs list by my property manager and we split the cost, I only owe her 10 more bucks. The night that Michael Jackson died I somehow got a virus but I ended up getting windows home sp3, what I had on there wouldn't let me update and the previous owner have a whole bunch of stuff on there that none of us could figure out!

Oh dang mate, your back sounds bad as, when I almost broke mine about 6-7 years ago I could do almost nothing, no fun sleeping on hard beds all the time...lol. HAHA oh cats, can’t live with them, can’t live without them, we have far too many, my gran can’t say no to a cat. Oh lovely computer problems, sounds like it was throwing a tantrum at ya, I swear they have minds of their own at times...lmao.

I agree. The cats have me very well trained. But 2 is enough for me.
Computer wise I ended up buying Windows and installing it so I don't have to deal with the other version that was on here. Yesterday yahoo decided to go wonky on me! Think it was the heat. I live in a brick building and it heats up really fast in here.

Hey,
This past weekend I literally froze! We did not break 70! When my friend and I were grilling out on Saturday I sat as close to the grill as possible to stay warm. Now I've got a cold. I was in bed just about the whole day today. But the cold is worth it. We grilled out to celebrate my 2 years of sobriety.
It was a little rough that week, I have a person that lives across the hall feels like she should be in everybodys bussiness and control them here in the building. It was great while she wasn't speaking to me for 2 and 1/2 weeks but then she started asking me for cigarettes (she thinks everybody should give her stuff) she got real pissy when I said no but that's her problem not mine. Besides that she thinks that she can do whatever she wants. Oh well, I'm dealing with it.
The cats are still in control as usual. My gray one Lefty decided to attack my bedcovers while I was still in them last night. That was interesting. Also my cats will only eat one brand of food, wet or dry. Gotta love them though!

The joys of cold weather, I’m thankful that I managed to not get a cold this year through the winter, first time in many years...lol.

Oh no not someone like that, people like her drive me nuts, always have to want stuff or be in the middle of whatever is going on, even if it has nothing to do with them, such a pain.

Lol cats are like men, can’t live with them, can’t live without them!!!

Big thing happened in my “lovely” street today...the bodies of 2 woman were found under a house down the road from us, one they think is of a chick that has been missing for a year, it’s quite freaky, this street already has a very bad name so this does not help at all. Ya can’t go out the door without seeing cops everywhere at the moment, my mother went to the local shops and was stopped and questioned, it’s all really mad.

I can relate with the police thing. The area that I live in has alot of drug dealers and stuff. We're going through a bad crime wave as it is at the moment here. There have been alot of shootings here lately. One was only about a block and a half about two weeks ago. I just basically stay close to home unless I have to be somewhere. It's alot better than when I first moved in here 17 years ago. Then it was basically low income (I get disability and not much at that) but now it's mixed income so that's cool. The city want to "layoff" a bunch of police and firefighters here. They say that they don't have the money in their budget and they won't take a pay cut. hopefully they won't.
My youngest cat got into my q-tips, goy 4 out before I caught her and tehy have been playing with them ever since. Right now she's chillin' in my desk drawer. One of her favorite places.
As far as the weather is concerned it has been really crazy here. Last week for about 4 days it has been really hot, it actually reached up into the 90's. Now it just depends one day it's a little chilly and then it's hot. No wonder I have a cold!
We celebrate Labor Dayon Monday and tonight we have fireworks down by the river (not too far from me) and I know that the cats are gonna be freaking. Lefty is terrified os thunder and fireworks. I live close but the buildings are in the way so I might watch it on T.V. besides it 's too crowed for me. Our president is intown giving a speach today too.
My very best friend is in from out of town so he's comming over tomorrow. I haven't seen him in almost 2 years.
